Learning Ally (formerly Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic) is holding its annual Read-A-Thon this month. Learning Ally records books for the print-disabled, including textbooks. Memberships are provided at a nominal charge.
For the Record-A-Thon, local celebrities are coming to help. Noted volunteers include former UGA football coach Vince Dooley and former Miss America Sherry Goggin, as well as local authors and dedicated volunteers.
